Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

My e-bike has sustained damage, what now?

It is possible to take out insurance for damage to rental bicycles. The price is €4.50 per day and €18.50 per week. Minor damage, such as small scratches, is not an issue and will be discussed with you upon returning the bike. In cases of more serious damage (or theft, for example), we may offset this against the security deposit paid or charge you for it. It is always advisable to take out insurance.

What documents do I need to rent a bike?

You need a passport or ID card.

Can you deliver the rental bikes to our (holiday) address?

We offer free delivery* up to a maximum of 30 km from our locations.

I would like to return the bikes earlier, is that possible?

That is certainly not a problem. However, since the bikes are reserved for you for the initial period, a refund of the rental amount is unfortunately not possible.

Do you also rent children's bikes?

No. However, we do rent out Firstbikes. These are balance bikes, particularly suitable for children from 2 years old.

What speed can I reach with the e-bike?

The Bosch motors of our Dutch ID E-bikes support speeds up to 25 km per hour.

Do you also sell bicycles? And if so, which ones?

Our name says it all; we sell E-bikes from the brand Dutch ID. Click on the link to see all models. We only have used bikes in stock if they have been traded in. Please stop by to see what’s available.

Can I trade in my old bike?

We only accept used bikes when purchasing a new E-bike.

Do you also provide maintenance or service for bicycles?

Yes, but only if the bike was purchased from us. Unfortunately, we do not accept other bikes.
